Captain's Choice is a 40' Sea Ray Sedan Bridge with twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3 diesel power.
We purchased Captain's Choice from very meticulous original owners from Upstate New York who kept her near Alexandria Bay NY in the 1000 Islands area of the St Lawrence river. Her well appointed interior with 2 staterooms, 2 full heads, dedicated dinette and roomy salon was exactly what we were looking for, coupled with diesel power to get us where we wanted to be when we had to be there (we were still working) was perfect.
As time went along we traveled with her extensively on Lake Erie, the Erie Canal, 1000 Islands and Lake Ontario. When we decided to do the Great Loop, we knew we already had the right boat for us, a comfortable go slow or go fast vessel that erased all worry about reliability, as beginning loopers, we had enough other things to be a little unsure about. This is an opportunity to purchase a vessel that has just come off a nearly 8000 mile trip with nothing more necessary during that time than routine maintenance, and she's ready to go again.
Update- Captains Choice has since summered in the Great Lakes and as of 1/19 is cruising the Florida Keys
